Sleep - Jin's Health tips

Sleeping is undoubtedly the most important part of your day.

Jin's Health tips suggest that you should have at least 7 hours of sleep a day.

A good sleep requires at least two sleeping cycles where the sleep waves ranges from Rapid Eye Movement(REM) to delta waves(stage 4) as shown in the figure below.

Benefits of good sleep
  • Reduces stress
  • Decreases the chances of getting cancer
  • Better memory
  • Makes you feel energetic
  • Better immune system
  • Better detoxification of unwanted substances within the body

How do you know if you have a sleeping problem?
  • If you take more than 30mins to get to sleep, you are most likely to have a sleeping problem.

So How?
  • Exercise regularly
  • Try to improve your sleeping habits in terms of posture and the time you sleep
  • Keep a sleep diary to see if there is any improvement
  • Get a posturepedic mattress
  • Consult a doctor if this issue persists
